Day of Action for Justice - November 14
Join us on Tuesday, November 14th for a day of action in Oakland! Our community is under attack as resources continue to be funneled into structures that harm us while those that keep us safe are getting cut. People continue to die inside Santa Rita Jail. Money is pouring into a massive expansion of a youth probation camp while Oakland public schools are at risk of being shut down. It's time that the Board of Supervisors take action and invest in the community. Come out as we ask the Alameda County Board of Supervisors why doesn’t the Sheriff have to be accountable to the public? Why fund empty prisons instead of full schools?
