This 2016 Clinton campaign video was extremely difficult to watch, because this woman should have been our president. As you watch it, one thing is for certain—Hillary Clinton knew the racist in Donald Trump very well.
Chilling excerpts from this video:
Imperial Wizard, Rebel Brigade Knights of the KKK: “The reason a lot of Klan members like Donald Trump, because a lot of what he believes, we believe in.”
Jared Taylor, racist editor of the white supremacist online magazine American Renaissance, talking about candidate Trump appeal: “Sending out all the illegals, building a wall and a moratorium on Islamic immigration. That’s very appealing to a lot of ordinary white people.”
David Duke, white supremacist and former Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan, on candidate Trump: “Running against Donald Trump, at this point, is really treason against your heritage”
When Trump was given the opportunity to condemn white supremacy and white supremacists, Trump literally played dumb and passed. This is who Trump is and it’s the very reason we have an increase in hate crimes.:
Jake Tapper: Will you unequivocally condemn David Duke and say you don’t want his vote or that of other white supremacists?
Donald Trump: “I don’t know anything about white supremacists, so I don’t know.”
The video then goes on to talk about Steve Bannon, a close associate and friend of Trump, running Breibart News—a breeding ground for the alt-right and racists.
The video ends with this prophetic warning:
“If Trump wins, they could be running our country”
It’s as if Clinton knew exactly what was coming with Trump as our “president”. This video hits the mark in every respect, when it comes to his associations with racists and how racists strongly identify with Trump.
This rise in racism is not going to end until Trump and his enablers are defeated. Trump will never stop his outreach to these racists groups. It will continue to get worse. I’ve said this before and I will say it again, the rise of racism is the number one issue we face today. We must defeat it in 2020.
