Applying for Unemployment Insurance Online
The National Employment Law Project, the Century Foundation, and Philadelphia Legal Assistance are studying how filing for unemployment insurance online can impact getting unemployment benefits.

We are seeking participants who filed for unemployment insurance online using Maine's unemployment insurance (UI) website, ReEmployME (https://reemployme.maine.gov/accessme/faces/login/login.xhtml).

You do not need to have received unemployment benefits to be eligible.

Participants will be asked to attend a focus group to discuss their experience filing for unemployment benefits online. Focus groups will last approximately two hours and be held on one of the following dates:

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 22 at 6:00 PM in PORTLAND
Greater Portland Immigrant Welcome Center (Fourth Floor - Room 405)
24 Preble St.
Portland, ME 04101

THURSDAY, JANUARY 23 at 6:00 PM in BREWER
Solidarity Center (Food AND Medicine)
20 Ivers St.
Brewer, ME 04412

If you are asked to attend one of the focus groups, you will be given a per diem ($100) and a meal as a courtesy for your participation.
