On Sunday May 31^st in the afternoon, Rural & Migrant Ministry, Inc. will sponsor the Caravans of Solidarity and Dignity for Farmworker and Food Chain Workers across different regions in New York State thanking Farmworkers and Food Chain Workers for their contributions as essential workers to our well-being. 

We are pleased to be joined by the following organizations that are directly serving farmworkers in New York State and sponsoring the Event: Mujeres Divinas, Mujeres de Esperanza, Worker Justice Center of New York, Workers Center of Central New York, Alianza Agricola and Center of Alliance, Solidarity & Accompaniment (CASA.)

Co-Sponsored by: RWDSU, UFCW, RWDSU Local 338, UFCW Local 888 UFCW Local 1, Finger Lakes Rapid Response Network, Food Chain Workers Alliance, and NYCLU Suffolk County.

This Caravan of Celebration will take the place of the annual Farmworker Albany Day, since we will be unable to be present at  the Capitol. 

 We hope you will join us! 

Here is a chance to make a statement of affirmation, and help the wider community appreciate the valuable contribution that workers in the food chain make for all of us. We invite you to decorate your vehicle with signs that affirm and thank farmworkers.

For those of you from the Christian Faith, this a further opportunity to celebrate Pentecost and the Spirit among us – with red streamers! RMM has also put together a set of prayers if you would like to incorporate them.

El domingo May 31 por la tarde, El Ministerio Rural y Migrante patrocinará una Caravana de Solidaridad y Dignidad con los Trabajadores Agrícolas y los de la Cadena Alimenticia a través de diferentes regiones del Estado de Nueva York, ofreciéndole gracias y celebrando sus contribuciones a nuestro bienestar como trabajadores esenciales.
