This is a virtual event

Want to learn how to effectively connect with others in your community to build more support for climate action, creating and using an FFF petition? How do we apply some of the basic tools to organizing. Join the  Action Basics on Climate Change, round 1 on petitions.

These times fit well for Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia. Be sure to come on zoom at the right local time.

When aware of the time, make sure it is your local time. One way is use Google ask, and ask what is the time shown in your local time. For example, if the time announced is 20 CET and you live in Eastern (Coast time), write 'what is 20 CET in ET.' Google shows 1400 ET. Our apologies for lack of clarity.

This one-hour online training will focus on:

  • One way to build your FFF local group is promoting the petition. How to write it online, how to put it online, and most importantly how to use it offline and TALK TO PEOPLE will be covered. We will have some roll playing on reaching folks to sign the petition.

  • Follow up with issues you have in your group around growing, or not growing.

  • What tools do you want to hear about next?

We will provide you the zoom call information when you sign up here on the right.

If you have any questions, please email slowclimate@gmail.com.

FFF operates on a decentralized, nonhierarchical model, which means that we have no central leadership team and each local group has autonomy over its climate strike concepts and schedules, organizational model, and strategic goals. FFF trainings offered by the international trainings team are not meant to contain orders or directives, and we encourage each participant to adapt training content to the contexts of their own local groups however they see fit.
