Early on Tuesday morning, Donald Trump retweeted his campaign manager in an attack on Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey. The gist of Trump’s half-baked attack was that Minneapolis, behind Mayor Frey, was attempting to overcharge the Trump campaign for the upcoming campaign rally, scheduled to be held Thursday at the Target Center. The harsh reality is that the Trump campaign has cost local municipalities hundreds of thousands of dollars in local security detail, and Trump does not pay his bills. Minneapolis officials reportedly sent a bill up front, in order to make sure the Trump campaign understood they were going to be held responsible for the costs.
So good. What say you internets?
Well done.
