The 2020 COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted the lives of Mason students, faculty, and staff. In light of this, we, the graduate committee of the GMU chapter of the AAUP, ask that the policy on graduate completion be revised so that all graduate students receive a two-year extension on their time-to-completion clocks.

To better share the experiences of graduate students with Grad Council as we advocate for this extension, we want to collect from you, your experience with advisors and departments heads around academic challenges. While we are collecting information about specific departments, we will not be sharing this information with any administrators.
