Please fill out this form if you are interested in participating in an online Reading Group for Capital Vol. 1 this spring! The reading group is intended for anyone in the DMV interested in Marx's work. It will meet weekly or every other week for ~4 months or ~16 weeks. As it stands now, the plan is to meet virtually, starting in late March and running through approximately mid-July (with the potential to continue or evolve after).

People of all backgrounds and knowledge levels in the area are encouraged to sign up- whether you've read Marx before or if you're new to the book. The purpose of the reading group is to gain an understanding of Marx's central work as a group, so as to better comprehend the world we live in as workers, advocates, and people.

The intention of this form is to understand peoples' knowledge level and interests going in, but mostly to collect information in case if we have to balance people across multiple sections if we get strong interest. The group will use the Penguin edition of Capital Vol. 1 and Michael Heinrich's An Introduction to the Three Volumes of Karl Marx's Capital (which are both available for free as PDFs online or for purchase in hard copy).
