AFGE NVAC’s monthly, electronic newsletter recaps major national and local VA issue news, local member actions, organizing and membership growth, upcoming events, legal wins, legislative updates, and more. Most importantly, the newsletter features the many victories secured by NVAC local members every day as they continue to fight for a fair contract that protects workers’ rights, a safe workplace, and the ability to provide the best care possible to veterans.
If you have a local victory or update to share, we want to hear about it. Examples of information to share include, but are not limited to:
- Stories about overcoming a work-related challenge,
- Stories about how you are organizing or growing your local union,
- Stories about going above and beyond,
- Taking an action to protect workers’ rights (e.g., a local day of action), and
- Local news articles about any of the above.
Thank you for taking a minute to fill out this short survey to report your local victory!
