This form provides registrants an opportunity to call a subcaucus for consideration. Candidates vying for the DFL endorsement have already organized subcaucuses for those who wish to support their campaigns. In addition, the caucus form will list up to ten issue-based (and not candidate-based) citywide subcaucuses.
If you wish to call a subcaucus, please note the following guidelines and steps:
1. By filling out this form, you are indicating your wish to organize an issue-based subcaucus.
2. A bit later in the process, each subcaucus will need to identify a convener for each ward. The ward conveners must be residents of the ward where they are serving as convener.
3. If multiple subcaucuses are called for the same issue, you will have an opportunity to join forces with others. Please see this spread sheet below to track which subcaucuses have been called, and note that the information you put on this form will be made public.
4. The final list of issue-based subcaucuses will be determined at the discretion of the Chair of the St. Paul DFL.
