Labor Movement Moving Against Racism
Sign up here if you are interested in staying informed and getting engaged in activities to learn about and take action against racism in our labor movement and communities. This work requires all of us - regardless of our race. The Maine AFL-CIO has been building a chapter of the A. Philip Randolph Institute for the past two years, which is a caucus for union members and workers of color (and which welcomes membership of everyone who supports the mission and values) and has also sponsored other activities open to all union members to learn about the effects of race and racism on our movement and our economic system and to take steps to make change.
