About Judy
Judy Chu was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in July 2009. She represents Pasadena, Claremont, the San Gabriel foothills, and the west San Gabriel Valley.
Rep. Chu currently serves on the powerful House Ways and Means Committee, which has jurisdiction over legislation pertaining to taxes, revenues, Social Security, and Medicare.

The district
Rep. Chu is running for re-election for the 28th Congressional District. This new district includes the communities of Alhambra, Altadena, Arcadia, Claremont, La Canada Flintridge, La Crescenta-Montrose, Monterey Park, Pasadena, Rosemead, San Gabriel, San Marino, Sierra Madre, South Pasadena, Temple City and Wrightwood as well as parts of Glendora, Monrovia, Rancho Cucamonga and Upland.
