LITIGATION / BRIEFS

Full appellate case briefing and oral argument moot supervised and judged by Chief Judge Harry T. Edwards, D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals, as part of curriculum at NYU.

Worked on the U.S. Supreme Court human rights case Kiobel v. Royal Dutch Petroleum (NO. 10-1491, 10A1006). Specifically, arguments I drafted on the international prohibition against piracy were cited by Justice Breyer in his concurring opinion.

Credited in Brief of Professors Philip Alston and Sarah Knuckey, New York University School of Law, as Amici Curiae in Support of Rehearing and Rehearing En Banc, Mamani v. Berzain, 654 F.3d 1148 (11th Cir. 2011)
