Because of your activism, we got Mayoral control out of the State budget bill! But the State budget is not done, yet and we need to keep the pressure on.

1. Keep Mayoral control out of the budget
2. Establish a task force to develop a new, alternative democratic school governance system
3. Give Transitional Aid to New York City
4. Revise funding formula to more equitably fund traditional public schools, instead of diverting resources to charter schools
5. Amend the Open Meetings Law
6. Support the Universal Child Care Act S7595/A8625
