Tell Ohio Leaders: We Want Prepay Postage and Ballot Drop Boxes for Safe and Fair Elections!

Voter advocates like you have been calling on the General Assembly for months to prepay return postage, and more secure drop boxes for absentee ballots. Thanks to your hard work we have the chance to get this done! But there is one more thing we need to do. We need to contact Secretary of State Frank LaRose, House Speaker Bob Cupp, and Senate President Larry Obhof and tell them to support pre-paid return postage and multiple drop boxes at the next Controlling Board meeting!

The Ohio Controlling Board’s next meeting is Monday, September 14. That day they will decide the fate of pre-paid return postage and multiple drop boxes. A vote to support prepaid return postage and multiple drop boxes is a win for voter safety, a win for voter access, and a win for democracy itself.

There are no more excuses, no more kicking the can down the road. Tell Secretary LaRose, Speaker Cupp, and President Obhof they either believe in free and fair elections by supporting prepaid return postage and multiple drop boxes, or they don’t.

On behalf of the Ohio Voter Rights Coalition Steering Committee, thank you for taking action!
