Fair Contract for Planned Parenthood of Northern New England Staff

All staff at PPNNE (ME, VT, NH) began organizing over a year ago and have been working for months to reach an agreement with management. After months of bargaining, including two full days last week, it has become clear that PPNNE management does not agree with union staff about the importance of recruiting and retaining quality staff.

We have made it clear to our management team that we are here to create a more sustainable workplace thereby putting PPNNE in a stronger position to recruit and retain quality staff. We know that is how we best provide the highest quality care, advocacy and education that our community deserve. More specifically our priorities are:

●     Equity & Inclusion in all facets of our work

●     Transparency & collaborative decision-making

●     Livable wages & benefits

●     Appropriate staffing levels that meet our patient needs

It's been a year and we still do not have a fair agreement, and as a result, we have had to cut clinic hours because we don’t have enough staff to cover all of our hours.

Please write a quick note to the PPNNE Board voicing your support for our bargaining efforts and goals!
