RSVP for Common Start Rally: Spring Into Action!
Join Common Start this Saturday, April 9th for a day full of family fun and activism as we call for affordable, high-quality early education and child care for all! Place: Boston Common at the Parkman Bandstand

The rally is family friendly and free to attend. You can groove with tunes from a family-friendly musician, listen to some amazing speakers, participate in a ton of activities for the whole family (including henna and painting!), and listen to a great DJ, all while advocating for greater equity in early education and childcare.

While there is a chance of rain on Saturday, we will have tents for the kids activities with tables staffed by volunteers, including early educators! We will also have a large tent for rally participants, and there will be free coffee and hot chocolate at the Earl of Sandwich. This is our opportunity to show the strength of the Common Start Coalition and the dedication of our incredible partners and activists.

Bus transportation with snacks and beverages will be provided from key locations across Massachusetts-see the schedule at https://docs.google.com/document/d/1kGXB9HSn0RJhMuEwFnRO0SUYF6iXj3yR/edit.  With state Covid-19 mask requirements still in place on public and private transportation, including buses, please plan to wear a mask, except while eating snacks or drinking beverages provided to passengers.

The rally will be in Boston Common, which is accessible by the MBTA, car, or walking if you're in the area. The Common Start Coalition will also be providing buses to and from various parts of the state. We will match you with the closest bus by looking at the city that you live in.
