The JCEA Bargaining & Organizing Action Team (BOAT) is the team that connects the bargaining table and them membership and works together to create and lead direct actions in support of bargaining. It is our work to build power in our membership to help support the goals of our members during bargaining.

The BOAT team is an excellent place to be if you are interested in learning more about the bargaining process, organizing tactics, creating direct actions and generally how to build power in our union. It is also the right team to join if you think you might be interested in being on the bargaining team, but aren't quite ready to formally take that step yet.
