Hybrid Learning Model Solutions
This form is for secondary teachers to fill out with solutions for hybrid learning model. Please give us a  synopsis of ideas you are hearing from your members.
The District's suggested MOU language is:
"In the secondary hybrid model, secondary educators will combine in-person and remote instruction.
In both of the above situations, collaborative problem solving conversations between the educator and administrator should occur to determine how to accomplish this type of section, and identify supports to this type of section, and to consider how to monitor alternate schedule opportunities throughout the year."

We're trying to figure out practical solutions as well as MOU language.

1. How would you manage both 10-15 students in your classroom in person and an additional 10-15 students logged on from home for synchronous learning?
2. How would the technology work? Would you stand in front of your laptop while teaching? Does your school have enough technology for other approaches like a video camera to live streaming your class?
3. Does your school have sufficient bandwidth for synchronous live streaming throughout the building?
4. How would you take attendance and manage student engagement on both platforms?
5. How would you handle student discipline on both platforms?
6. How will you manage student privacy issues while streaming your in-person teaching? We can assume students will video or audio tape your online class.
7. Do you have ideas for NOT doing this synchronously but keeping both sets of students moving through the curriculum?
8. What other ideas for hybrid learning solutions do you have?
9. What MOU language would meet your needs?
10. What is your school? *
