Grants totaling $70 million are going to out to help Wisconsin hotels offset the losses they have suffered during the coronavirus pandemic.
Almost 900 lodging businesses will get grants of up to $2 million.
The money comes from the federal American Rescue Plan Act.
In addition to hotels, grant money is coming to movie theaters, live-event small businesses, minor league sports teams, and summer camps.
Governor Tony Evers announced the grants Monday.
