Thank you for your interest in testifying before the Colorado Independent Redistricting Commissions. On this page you can sign up to testify at the commissions’ public hearings.

The remaining public hearings are only on state legislative plans and will be conducted virtually. If you are unable to join a meeting remotely, you can come to the Colorado State Capitol to testify, but the commissioners will not be in attendance. The schedule can be found here: https://redistricting.colorado.gov/content/meeting-comment/

Everyone who wishes to speak MUST sign up in advance, and only the first 40 people who sign up for each hearing will be able to speak. Signups for the staffed sites will close 24 hours before the hearing starts. Signups for remote testimony close at the start of the hearing. The commissions will not take additional signups or requests to speak during the hearings.

Any supplemental materials accompanying testimony should be submitted on the web form here: https://redistricting.colorado.gov/public_comments/new

To register to testify, select the meeting date and time. Then fill out all the required fields on the form. After you submit your registration, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions for the hearing.

If a hearing is not available for signup, the 40-speaker cap has been met. No additional signups will be taken for that hearing.

If you have trouble signing up to testify, please email colorado.redistricting2020@state.co.us or call 303-866-4788 to speak to commission staff.

Commission witness lists are public records under the Colorado Open Records Act (CORA) and are provided to individuals upon request.
