The IAFF is welcoming a new Michigan affiliate, Highland Township Local 5267.
The Highland Township is a growing community not far from Pontiac. As the Township’s populations grows, the Township Fire Department is in the process of upgrading its services from BLS to ALS medical response to increase the services the department is able to provide to the community.
“As decisions are being made about fire department resources, we want to make sure we have a seat at the table,” says Local 5267 President Nicholas George. “We are proud to become part of the IAFF and are looking forward to the connecting with fellow IAFF members and it’s resources to continue to aid in the improvement our our department.”
Joining President George on the Local 5267 Executive Board are Vice President Gary Bonham and Secretary-Treasurer Dave Korponic.
