It is an honor to serve as District Attorney for Adams and Broomfield counties. I’m running for re-election to continue this important work and I hope you will join me!
As District Attorney, I focus on two primary goals: keeping the community safe and making the criminal justice system better. My motto is this: to do the right thing - at all times – in every case. We do this with an abiding commitment to justice, integrity, fairness, empathy, transparency, courage and the rule of law.

Brian has prioritized community safety throughout his time as District Attorney.
From leading the effort to combat fentanyl, to being at the forefront of legislation improving public safety, Brian has remained focused on protecting Adams and Broomfield counties.
An advocate we can count on.
Brian has taken the lead in addressing gun violence in the community by working with Gov. Polis to ban ghost guns in Colorado.
Brian works tirelessly to keep the community safe and make the criminal justice system better. He has vigorously prosecuted those who commit violent crimes and has gone after the drug rings that distribute drugs in our community. He has dramatically improved services to victims of domestic violence and has worked to strengthen our laws on motor vehicle theft . Brian has prioritized mental health by creating a hotline for youth and by bringing attention to the mental health crisis throughout the criminal justice system.
