(Washington, DC) -- Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar is among the members of Congress sponsoring a bill to create a monument honoring the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

The measure would establish a monument to honor Ginsburg's service and dedication to our country in the U.S. Capitol complex. It also calls for the selection of an artist from underrepresented demographic groups to create the monument. Klobuchar said, "Justice Ginsburg’s dedication to our country’s values and ideals is an example for every American.” The late Supreme Court justice will lie in state today at the U.S. Capitol, the first woman in the nation's history to be afforded that honor.
