WTU 2020-2021 Teacher Retention Survey
Thank you! Thank you for taking a few minutes to provide me with some information about your decision to stay in, or soon leave, the teaching profession. I am a teacher of sixteen years, and I am studying teacher retention issues. Any help you can give will be enormously helpful.
This survey is serving as an extension to a study conducted last year. Presently, the focus is still on teacher retention, but I am specifically studying how the pandemic has affected the perceptions and feelings of teachers using largely the same criteria as last year. I am conducting research to see what has helped teachers to “get over the hump” and continue teaching, and what has caused them to consider leaving the profession. Please answer all the questions, and I encourage you to make comments that may provide me a better understanding of the way you answered each question. I know you are EXTREMELY busy, so I appreciate your time and your thoughts. Thank you, and I sincerely hope you and your loved ones are safe, happy, and healthy.

FOR THE PURPOSES OF THE STUDY, IF YOU ARE INLFUENCING THE TEACHING OF STUDENTS AS AN ADMINISTRATOR OR TEACHER, YOU MAY ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS. ALL ANSWERS ARE ANONYMOUS. NO NAMES WILL BE USED UNLESS YOU CHOOSE TO FOLLOW UP, COMMUNICATE WITH ME, AND DESIRE TO BE QUOTED.
