Election Protection - Saturday Coverage
Election season is officially underway in Virginia! Due to new laws, 2020 is the first year Virginia voters have the option to vote early and as we saw this past weekend, it is really increasing voter turnout! In some places, things even got heated with protestors blocking voters' entry to the polling place (https://twitter.com/anthonytilghman/status/1307355994817736705?s=21). It's more critical than ever that we ensure every VA voter has unencumbered access to the polls and to make their voices heard. Will you help us by volunteering as an Election Protection poll monitor? We'll get you trained to help answer voters' questions, troubleshoot problems on-site, and protect the right to vote. We'll also provide PPE such as masks and hand sanitizers. Stipends are also available for those who need it.

We need help most Saturdays leading up to November 3rd, but we especially need help on October 24th and October 31st, when most locations will be open for early voting.
