The Social Services Department provides a diverse range of Community and Human Services, which are responsive to the unique and changing needs of our community in accordance with the requirements set out by the Ministries of Community and Social Services, Health and Long-Term Care, Municipal Affairs and Housing and the Service Agreements thereof.
Long Term Care
Lanark Lodge operates under the Homes for the Aged and Rest Homes Act of Ontario and its regulations, and is funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care pursuant to this Act. The purpose of this facility is to provide long-term care services in accordance with the requirements set out by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and the Service Agreements thereof.
