Central Valley Matters - "Growing the Grassroots"
Central Valley Matters is a coalition of organizations in California working to strengthen democracy and
activate the electorate. Please give generously to our three chosen grassroots organizations.
Valley Voices is a tax-deductible 501(c)(3). They work to increase civic engagement and voter education, specifically with new voters including young and recently naturalized citizens, often in Spanish.
Valley Forward is a non tax-deductible 501(c)(4). They are a youth leadership organization dedicated to advancing social and economic justice initiatives in the San Joaquin Valley.
Dolores Huerta Foundation is a tax-deductible 501(c)(3). They are a community benefit organization working at the grassroots level to engage and develop natural leaders and a strong base of volunteers.
Knocking on doors is the key to the success of our organizations and canvassing is the heart and soul of grassroots work.
Costs to Hire Canvassers
1 Day - $125 (5 hours)
2 Days - $250 (10 hours)
4 Days - $500 (20 hours)
2 Weeks - $1250 (50 hours)
1 Month - $2500 (100 hours)
2 Months- $5000 (200 hours)
Monthly Donation
$15 monthly donation supports each group with $5 a month
Central Valley Matters is a statewide alliance of organizations helping Central Valley citizen voices be heard and counted. CVM is all volunteer and every donation goes directly to our vetted groups working in Kings, Kern and Fresno counties.
