Drug Prices are Too High

Chip in if you agree!

Even though AstraZeneca secured a taxpayer handout of more than $1 billion to develop a COVID-19 vaccine, it has still decided to pursue two rounds of price hikes for some of its most popular medications.

In January 2020, AstraZeneca raised prices on 13 prescription drugs. In July, the company announced additional price hikes on ten more drugs. Even that wasn’t enough. It then raised prices again — on 11 of the 13 drug charges it first hiked in January.

AstraZeneca’s greed-fueled behavior is downright shameful, especially in the middle of a pandemic.

It’s time to say, “Enough!” AstraZeneca’s greedy behavior must stop. Someone has to fight back against the profit-driven nightmare of a system that enables such despicable behavior.

It’s up to us. We’re going to keep fighting until patients are helped, not exploited, by Big Pharma’s goliaths. We’re going to keep fighting until the medical needs of the American people come before the gargantuan profits of Big Pharma titans.

Help us win the fight against Big Pharma: help us put patients first, and greed last.

Drug Prices Are Too High works to hold pharmaceutical corporations accountable by taking on their relentless greed and price gouging. We demand that politicians listen to the will of the American people—or we will replace them with political leaders who will.

Donate today to help us continue the fight for lower drug prices, and build a new system of drug development that helps people instead of Big Pharma’s profits!
