Donate to help provide relief to Mississippi communities in the wake of the Jackson water crisis

Jackson residents have been without water for a month, with the city still enacting a boil-water notice after winter storms caused outages for much of the Southeastern United States. Though the city has started restoring access, community members still don’t have access to basic necessities and Jackson’s infrastructure needs updating to ensure the crisis won’t worsen or happen again.

Fortunately, community organizations and mutual aid efforts throughout Jackson and the state at large are putting in the work to ensure fellow residents have warm and dry beds, food, water, and other basic necessities. Unlike Texas, Mississippians have not received large media coverage of the water crisis.

Please chip in at least $1 each to help these Mississippi organizations meet the challenges AND needs in the Magnolia State right now.
